I was honored to be invited to judge this year’s semifinal round of the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) held in Washington DC. Over 2,000 students competed in 52 live competitions, then were narrowed down to 49 semifinalist, of which 7 were invited to the final round. The day went fast but the inspiration these students provided will last a long time.

Congratulations to Steinar Henskes, CEO of Bird Control Group, and Yasmeen Haider, President and Founder of Cake Pop Place. Both were winners of 2015 Global Student Entrepreneur Awards from the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO).

He received $20,000 from EO to help Henskes successfully continue on his entrepreneurial journey, and access to the EO’s global network of 10,000+ business owners worldwide.
